COLUMBUS, Ohio, November 23, 2021—Cbus Libraries, a grassroots initiative to champion libraries and the love of reading, hosted a joyous celebration of Columbus Black creatives in late August.
Highlights include a mural dedication and performances by award-winning authors, poets and musicians. Hanif Abdurraqib and artist Bryan Moss spoke eloquently about what the mural, celebration, forebearers and community mean to them. Additionally, families enjoyed creating art with Maroon Arts Group and tasting cool treats from Too Good Eats.
