COLUMBUS, Ohio, February 21, 2018—Cbus Libraries, a grassroots initiative to champion libraries and the love of reading, is excited to welcome Jeff Heydinger as its newest board member.

Jeff has risen in the retail and wholesale book industry for over 12 years. As Chain Online Sales and Facilities Manager for Half Price Books, Jeff has managed profitable sales events in several markets across the United States and provided logistics leadership. In the newly created role as Used Inventory Buyer, Jeff will influence purchases at a national level across more than 120 retail stores in 17 states.

In partnership with Cbus Libraries, Jeff and Half Price Books have been integral in several community events and projects, including the Mifflin Middle School Reading Nook, multiple years at the King Arts Complex Aminah Robinson Family Day, and the Eco Library at ComFest and 934 Fest, reaching an estimated 60,000 participants.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo. His community collaborations include Reach out and Read, Books For Kids to Keep, Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Whitehall City Schools and South-Western City Schools.

“Jeff’s leadership to help promote the love of reading has been remarkable,” noted Cbus Libraries Co-Founder Bryan Loar.

Cbus Libraries enthusiastically welcomes Jeff and is ready to continue to build engaging, community-based projects.
