Jevon Collins Joins Cbus Libraries’ Board

COLUMBUS, Ohio, January 12, 2021—Cbus Libraries, a grassroots initiative to champion libraries and the love of reading, is excited to welcome Jevon Collins as one of its newest board members.

Over a span of nearly 20 years in the arts, Jevon Collins has risen to his current position as the Performing Arts Program Director at The King Arts Complex in Columbus, Ohio. His main duties include developing, organizing and facilitating all performing arts programming.

Jevon earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University. He has served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council and the Cuyahoga Arts Council. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Performance Network/Visual Artist Network and as Vice President on the Board of Governors for The Ohio State University – Black Alumni Society. Jevon is a founding member of the Next Gen National Arts Network and the Columbus Artists Network. He has also served on The Wexner Center for the Arts – GenWex Advisory Committee and as a Columbus Urban League Young Professional.
